Staff

Our staff team are highly experienced and reflective educators who work collaboratively and in dialogue with each other to create the best possible learning experience for children. We are from a diverse range of backgrounds but are brought together by our belief in research based learning and our excitement of working in a setting with a deep and unique pedagogy.

In memory of Kay Roberts

In June 2018 we sadly lost our dear colleague and friend Kay Roberts. Kay spent more than 20 years at Madeley Nursery School and was a dedicated and much loved member of staff. She always had time for every child and their family and gave her love and care to everyone. The heartfelt dedications in her memory book from staff and families past and present are testament to the difference she made to so many people.

“There are special people in our lives who never leave us … even after they are gone.

Governors

We are fortunate to have a very knowledgable and supportive team of governors who work hard to ensure that we are providing the best learning environment we can for our children. Governors are representatives of the local community, parents, school staff, and the LEA. They have a range of interests, knowledge and skills to help the school whilst working entirely in a voluntary capacity. One of their key roles is to act as a ”critical friend” offering support, constructive advice, a sounding board for ideas, a second opinion on proposals and help where needed. A “critical friend” will challenge, ask questions, seek information, improve proposals and help to arrive at the best outcomes for our children, families and the whole school community.
